How To Care For A Piercing

PIERCING AFTERCARE These are standard aftercare rules applicable to all piercings. The factors crucial to healing are simple: Patience & Hygiene. You don't need a lot of products to care for your piercing, just good attention to detail. Healing time varies depending on the region pierced and other factors like your diet, general health, alcohol intake, smoking habits and lifestyle. As always, a balanced diet with a minimum of processed/packaged food and plenty of water & rest are your best allies. Do not deviate from your professional piercer's instructions and do not use any products on the piercing without consulting the piercer. To start with, we want to briefly outline the three major steps in healing of a piercing. This will give you an idea of what to expect at different stages of the process. If you experience any symptoms other than those mentioned here, play it safe and contact your professional piercer for advice. Stage 1 - Immediately after the pie

What is Tattoo After care?

There are several different schools of thought on tattoo aftercare. Aftercare is essentially the steps taken during the healing process of a tattoo. How you care for a new tattoo from the first day right up to the time it's fully healed and become a seamless part of your skin constitutes tattoo aftercare.  Today, tattoo professionals have access to high-quality products that assist in the healing process and enhance the beauty of a tattoo.  Proper aftercare is still a matter of debate though, and while anyone with access to a network can put out a list of do's and do not's that seems accurate, it may not be the best way to look after your new tattoo.  We recommend always following your professional tattoo artists advice on appropriate  tattoo-aftercare . How to Care For Your New Tattoo

Keep Your Ink looking Spectacular   IMMEDIATELY AFTER GETTING A TATTOO # Your tattoo has been wrapped to protect it from pollutants; keep the wrap on until you get to a clean, dust free area (indoors). Don’t leave the wrap for longer than two hours because the tattoo needs to breathe to initiate the healing process. # Throughout the day, gently dab away any seepage around the tattoo with a clean tissue paper and keep it dry. Always make sure your hands are clean when handling the tattoo. # The inflammation in your fresh tattoo should subside in an hour, but if you experience pain or prolonged swelling, you may use anti-inflammatory medication (pain relievers) to alleviate the discomfort. #Don’t expose the tattoo to direct sunlight, or any kind of moisture (rain, swimming pools, or steam rooms). #Before bed, apply a thin layer of Cipladine ointment on the tattoo. Cipladine is a strong anti - microbial that will protect your tattoo against infection. One applica

Happiness in a Tattoo

The pursuit of Happiness forms a big part of human nature. Its a desire common to people everywhere, wherever they are in the world. A fact that was proven here at Eternal Expression, by a new friend who's travelled halfway across the globe to reach us, and to have her idea of complete happiness embodied forever in tattoo ink. An old friend shared his idea of spirituality in the form of a tattoo that represents faith through adversity. Both very different ideals, but part of the same greater theme. As artists we strive to bring visions to life and give them a physical form. To create the ideal expression of human thought and feeling is our ultimate goal. But this process is a two way street - a perfect tattoo is a pure reflection of your spirit, and we can only reach this ideal through communication and understanding. With every tattoo we create, we understand our fellow beings a little better. At the core, we are all the same, regardless of where we come from or what
